My/Our Previous Experience and Growth


I am a technical person and I was having basically very much interest in

technical line. I want to achieve something great in this line, in my life time. So I

joined in a private company in 1991 which was doing the business of DG Set

buying, selling and carrying out erection work. The job suited for me and I

proved my ability in the work and earned a very good name.


While in service I have done erection of DG Sets for for M/s. Greaves

Ltd., M/s. Gmmco Ltd., M/s.Powerica Limited and M/s. Kirloskar. Further we

have done erection work for BSNL in Chennai and also in other places of

Tamil Nadu for more than 750 DG Sets ranging from 30 KVA to 500 KVA.






Here I got very good experience which helped me a lot for my future. In 1996 I

started a new firm and from the beginning itself I used to get huge offers for DG

Set erection and other works from the following customers:


1) Automic Power Station, Kalpakkam

2) Ford India Ltd

3) Hyundai India Ltd

4) MGM

5) Orchid Chemicals etc.,


For the above parties also we have done erection work for more than 750 DG

Sets ranging from 15 KVA to 1500 KVA.


In the year 2005 we have started a new firm by the name Power World under

partnership. Power World is an authorized dealer of M/s.Powerica Ltd., who is

the manufacturers of “Cummins DG Sets”. In Power World I acted as a

Managing Partner. Here also I got good experience in buying and selling DG

Sets apart from Erection work. The range of DG Sets here we dealt were from

15 KVA to 2000 KVA.


Our Achievements:

Having rich experience in buying, selling and erection of DG Sets I started a new

Partnership Firm of my own in the year 2007 under the banner of

“Powerline Engineers”. Mainly we are dealing with Supply and

Erection of DG Sets in the range of 20 KVA to 1500 KVA.

Beyond this we are taking service contract also for DG Sets (ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT)



Because of our sincerity and quality of work our company is doing well with

good turnover and it has given us a new courage to enter into the field of

“OEM”. Where we have planned to do this near Mel Maruvathoor.

We hope that we can able to give good quality components which will

be useful to our field. It is our ambition.


For this purpose now we have acquired three acres of land near Mel

Maruvathoor. We strongly hope that by God’s grace this will get materialized

very soon.

We are having 15 dedicated employees with good experience in various

catogories as mentioned below:

We are also engaging well experienced eight sub-contractors in our company to

help us in our work. We are carrying out our Erection work in Southern States

i.e., TamilNadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala at Present.




In April 2008, we started new Partnership Firm in the name of

M/s. Hitech Generators, sale of generators ranging from 20 KVA to 82.5

KVA DG Set.


In April 2009, we have started new Company in the name of

M/s. Sunline Generators Pvt Ltd mainly to do Marketing work to

procure orders for sale of generators. For this purpose we have appointed

Marketing Manager and Sales Engineer.
